  The food was divine. I will have memories of that hazelnut custard for a lifetime. The fried brussel sprouts set the tone and the service was just excellent throughout. One of the best restaurant experiences my life.

  Good food. Brings new taste to the table. Good wine options. Service is good too. And it’s great value for what you pay.

  Delicious food, drinks, and dessert. Staff are so friendly. Just make sure you make reservations for ahead of time if you're thinking of coming here!

  I'm pretty hard on DC-area restaurants, which in general I find over-priced and under-performing. Red Hen was my daughter's pick - and I expected it to be like so many others. Imagine her surprise when at the end of the meal I turned to her and said "This was excellent on all accounts - we will come back". It's all done right here - from the quality of the meal to the service to the casual/upscale ambiance. Prices are reasonable compared to other trendy eateries. Everything was right on the mark and the whole family truly enjoyed our dining experience.

  Red Hen is always a great experience. Amazing unpretentious food/wine menu. Fresh in house made pasta everyday. I love the ambiance and think it's a great spot for a date :)
