Awesome place to launch yaks or bring the dog to swim. Only bummer is parking. They have 20 spots or so but literally that's it - no grass to park on and there is no where else to park within quick walking distance (10-12 minute walk each way). I'm sure there's not this problem during non-peak hours.

Great spot! The park is beautiful and clean. Dogs can explore off leash and swim if they want. We have one swimmer and one who cheers her on from the sidelines. For us its totally worth the hour drive to get here. Arrive early, because the parking lot fills up fast and then you have to wait for someone to leave. The upside to this is that it doesn't get overcrowded.

Really nice park but limited parking. There's always a line to find parking going all the way to the street. You'll be waiting for anywhere from 5-40 minutes just waiting to get in. Either than that it's a beautiful place where I go kayak all the time. Trail is really nice too.

My pup and I had a great time here. The parking situation is surprisingly organized (there aren’t many spaces, so I liked how the cars lined up so we fairly get spots). Great spot to see if your pup is ready for the greenbelt. Minor gripe, a dog ran up and jumped on a kid (the dog was excited - super friendly) and the parents got upset because the kid was scared of dogs??? Not sure what they were expecting from an off leash dog park.

Awesome spot to take the dog. Close to downtown, hula hut, and easy to get to. Probably about .5 mile 'loop' if you stay on the main path. Lots of little outlets where the dogs can jump in the water or explore the banks. Picturesque, relaxing, pretty hard to lose your dog because its confined by water. The only drawback is that there is enough land for 100 dogs to play but only enough spots for about 20 cars. It seems that some locals avoid it due to having to wait in line for a spot. I still suggest giving it a shot if you don't mind waiting in line for a few minutes. It's worth it as long as you stay for a while.
