  Order: Pour Over (Single Origen Ethiopian), pretzel shortbread cookie Price: $9 Pros: They have a great interior seating including an enclosed upstairs work area, this is probably the best coffee shop I've ever been to from a "work" perspective. They roast their own coffee, really high quality beans. Cons: It is just a tad bit more expensive than most coffee shops I've been to by about $1 Thoughts: Our first coffee shop stop in Philly and we managed to pick a pretty good one. Reanimator has an incredibly spacious, well lit interior that feels perfect for sitting around and sipping coffee or getting work down. There are a lot of seats so you should be able to find seating at most times, and if you really want to focus and get work knocked out they look to have an enclosed work environment that is up on the second floor. It looked like a really unique idea, but as I'm not here doing work I didn't really test it out. The coffee didn't take too long to arrive and it was delicious. Great body, very pronounced flavor notes, not too dark of a roast on the bean, and overall just a delightful cup of coffee all around. While they don't make the pretzel shortbread cookies in house they paired really well with the coffee. It's essentially a shortbread cookie with a coating of pretzel dough on the outside. The light, buttery sweetness worked really well with the coffee. I'd definitely recommend Reanimator to anyone in the area and if we had more time we might even come back, but given that I only have a few days in the city to eat all the food and drink all the coffee that’s a bit unlikely.

  Nice place to hang out or work with plenty of seating. Good coffee and friendly staff.

  Clean space with a decent amount of seating. Friendly staff and great coffee. They have a happy hour from 1-3pm for $3 pourovers

  I'm sorry, but I don't get the idea or the concept of not selling single shot espresso. Only double. Other than that, the service is with a smile and it's nice atmosphere.

  Severely lacking the amount of cozy seating that could easily fit in the huge warehouse. The coffee is good but also a bit over priced. It has so much potential that its right on the edge of but not quite there yet
