::Dr. Raphael essentially said there "was no hope for me" in one consultation. Since then I have seen changes in my facial anatomy thanks to myofunctional exercises (without the use of orthotropic devices or palatal expanders). I will be routinely updating this review, and maybe in about a couple more years or so I will add progress photos from my journey with this. I think if you have a young child who has mouth-breathing habits or dental issues, he would be a fine doctor. For older patients, you may want to go elsewhere (the consultation is very expensive and not worth it in my opinion). I wish Dr. Raphael the best.

::Dr. Barry is the best!! He has worked on my two girls and I was so impressed I became his patient too!! His myofacial methodalities make amazing sense and will change the orthodontic care landscape. If what I said right there doesn't make sense to you, you owe it to yourself to look it up. He and his office are so great with kids! They love going to him. My dentist was almost sure my daughter would need a tooth pulled to make room for all her teeth. Between myofacial intervention and stellar orthodontics there is plenty of room in her mouth for all her teeth. That's not to say teeth will never need to be pulled, but most of the time there is an actual problem with the structure of the jaw because of our breathing habits forcing our jaws to narrow and crowd the teeth. The office staff is warm and friendly, the dental assistants are kind and caring and the atmosphere is open and cheery!! If you are looking for an orthodontist you owe it to yourself and your children to check out this practice!!!

::Dr. Barry has a great way with making the kids comfortable as he evaluates their breathing posture and what issues need to be addressed. He offers lost of options on how to best address the problems he finds and how to prevent potential problems to come.
