My husband and I had previously purchased from this store back in 2014. We had a very positive experience back then. However, when we went to go purchase a new couch this year we were very disappointed. We came in knowing exactly which couch we wanted asking for the specific couch by name, but the salesmen from the first minute already tried to upsell us to a larger couch from the same manufacturer, saying they were the same couch, but this one was “just better.” The one he was pushing us towards was just more expensive. We didn’t even bother looking at that couch because again we knew exactly which model we wanted. When asking questions about the couch we wanted such as how much it would cost to special order it in the color we wanted or how much to add an extra part of the sectional, everything was answered with I don’t know, I’d have to look that up. This would be fine if that is what he went to go do. However, he then just went over to go talk to a coworker for five minutes. My husband and I just left at that point which is disappointing because again we knew the exact couch we wanted. I don’t know if it is because the salesperson thought we were young and didn’t take us seriously or what. Regardless, my husband and I directly went to another store 5 mins away where we received amazing customer service and purchased on the spot. We had previously loved Raymour and Flanigan, having multiple rooms with their furniture, but I don’t see us shopping from them again.

Good inventory but the sales people stereotype clients and benchmark as discount clients vs high value clients. Guys change your attitude or you aren't going to be doing great business. Lesson number one of sales never stereotype clients but understand their needs and see what you have that will fit them and make the clients dream a bit so that you can do some up selling. Crappy place overall and avoidable totally.

Very bad first impression. The salesmen were helpful and purchasing my couch and matching recliner was easy. That’s where the good part stops. The recliner is out of stock and will come in 2 weeks maybe. The couch was to be delivered between 1-4pm and here we are at 6pm with no delivery. I was actually called at 3:45pm to be told it would be another 90 minutes. Incredibly disrespectful of my time. I am SUPER ANGRY!!

For such an expensive store brand their quality and service both stink. I bought more than 10k worth of merchandise from them in January, the couches have begun to sink, the coffee table seems to be of inferior quality, the mattresses are a complete mess, the stitching has come out of both and they've both sunk significantly. The only part of the order I'm content with are the dressers and side tables. The service is worst than the quality, the appointments given are for a month later, and they've been here twice at my location and said we can't replace things because there isn't a significance sinking yet, it's close but not to the level we'll do anything. Absolutely ridiculous and asinine comment, they know its sinking they know it's bad but they'd rather wait another month or two before they'll "send" someone out here again. If you go premium and spend premium money you expect premium service and quality. Raymour and Flanigan is clearly just an inferior brand to me, they shine the shoes pretty well but underneath it's still the rotten old quality of a discount store except with a premium price tag. Don't buy from them, spend more if you have to and go somewhere else (I dont even know where I gotta look into it) or spend significantly less and you'll know what that merchandise is worth at least and what to expect. Businesses that dont provide the service are worth jacksh-t.

WARNING!!!!! Walked in and had a okay service when purchasing. My purchase keeps damaging and I have less than 2 months with it. Costumer service is a BS, buy somewhere else. I have to adjust to their schedule, these people are coming every two weeks to take pictures, they want to repair the same couch and chair that keeps damaging. I bought a living room set and mattress with headboard. Make sure the sales person requests to take your old mattress, I did request this but my sales person was a mess, he screwed me his name is Jason. After all this bad experience went to a different location, went to Bridgewater and their people are well trained, they were so kind and they cared about me as a costumer. However I have to follow their protocol for cheap furniture, at this point I rather seat in the floor.... this Location Iselin sucks!!!
