Liked it originally and still do, but reduced to three stars from four (back when I came just for drinks). Reduction is for uninspired, very average food and generally just an all around average experience. For instance, my wife got the HH special drink with no gin, for a virgin version, but also got charged full price for it - hmmmm 🤔 I get that it's just a hotel bar and restaurant, but the Kimpton chain is so nice I guess I had higher expectations from Radiator, especially given the fact that it's in a good location to draw locals and travelers alike.

Amazing cocktails! Kudos to Sarah who runs the bar program here and walked us through the inspiration behind several of the cocktails on the menu. Definitely recommend the Pele, inspired be her upbringing on the big island of Hawaii. This is definitely how Hawaiian drinks are meant to be served.

Way to go Radiator! Cancelling our reservation while we were walking in the door, just because it started raining! Awful customer service! You lost a customer, and who ever asks for referrals from me will know what happened! Never again!!! Get your agenda together!!! Shame on you!

Small hotel bar, but very decent food with a lot of small plate offerings and very good cocktails (I like the fact they make their own sour mix!). The staff was super friendly and attentive - plus cool outdoor area doubles the space when weather permits.

This is definitely one of the best restaurants I have ever been in in DC! The service is super nice and the food is just great! Also I really liked the atmosphere and the fact that it is one of few restaurants where it is not so extremely loud! I will definitely come back when I am in town. It is quite expensive, but for DC standards, it is well worth the money!
