::I did get a great refi low rate in 2012 but they keep harassing me to refi again. I called and the guy told me they could not give me a better deal than what I already had. At one point during the harassment I tried the on-line chat with one rep and he refused to divulge the charges for processing the loan and he said that I needed to complete the loan to find that out. THAT IS AGAINST THE LAW! TRUTH IN LENDING VIOLATION!

::I have dealt with a several people here. Financed our home through Catherine Cost a bit over a year ago and she was fabulous and kind. Put her all into every step. Recently, after speaking to another employee Aaron Clark who works in refinance so he directed me to a person who works in new loans Greg who I found to be helpful and kind. My experiences with these three people was great.

::I should have stayed with our mortgage guy we originally used who never once lied to us or gave us false hope. EDITED: I've spoken with the customer relations team and I feel that this may have been an isolated incident. I've upgraded my star rating from 1 to 3.

::I applied for a mortgage in February 2018, first speaking with a "banker" over the phone and then a week goes by and I didn't hear anything from him. I would guess after pulling my personal report and finding out that I am a 40 year old Black Man that was enough not to call back, so I wrote a Google review about this. I was contacted via email by a representative in online and social marketing from Quicken Loans. The next day I received a phone call from the same "banker" Derek. We continue in the process of proceeding with the application and submitting the bank statements and income statements. I was told I would have an answer from underwriting on March 29, 2018, I called on April 3, 2018 and I received a call back on April 5, 2018 with this answer. I needed to come up with another $1,499 so I did and deposited the funds into another account. This still wasn't good enough, they told me they would get back in contact with me in July 2018, keep in mind I applied in February 2018. Derek told me that since the deposit showed as a cash deposit, the "FHA" and underwriting needed to know where it came from. I believe this is only done with Black people and not with Whites. Yes credit may play a percentage of a factor but not as great a factor as Race plays in the decision to grant a mortgage loan. If one is granted to a Black Man most loans are so low they can only move into low income areas to keep the statistical information relevant in Government records that these People live here who make this. Many will view this in various ways and you are entitled to your free thoughts, this thought is mine.
