It's always a pleasure going there for books, dvds, and studying, though the kids can be noisy sometimes. Also, the staff is amazing. Keep up the great work :D

I work as a tutor and this must be one if the worst libraries to work in. They do not control the noise from the kids. They have a kid/teen section and they don't enforce. These kids are loud and use terrible language. To be fair I only come here on Saturdays. So, if you need to go somewhere quiet. This is not the place to go.

It's the best library ever!!! It has homework help, a variety of books, and friendly staff. If you ever need a book you'll find it here.

Located in a quiet spot in Queens Village. I walked into this branch at 12:05 pm on a Monday morning, it had just opened. Two employees were at the front desk so engaged in their own conversation that they never even bothered to look up to greet me with a basic "hello/good morning". Even when I walked past the desk and offered my own greeting (twice). NOTHING! This is not the first time that I have experienced an unwillingness just to be polite or helpful at this branch. It doesn't take much to be kind to people. This branch is packed with kids during the school year. I won't even list the things I've overhead and manner in which they speak to the kids. I would never allow my child there without my supervision. The only reason I continue to go there is because parking is horrendous at the Merrick Ave. branch.
