  Extremely loud! No one enforces quiet over here! People are yelling and playing cards while others are trying to study!!!!!!

  The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. Great for young children. They always seem to have something special going on.

  This location offers one of the best aesthetics anywhere in the Queens system so it's a pleasure just being here -- unfortunately, even in suburban Glen Oaks there are homeless who are smelly and/or talk to themselves, plus the kids playing video games under library auspices (no, really)...all just par for the course in this day and age of a perverted multiculturalism where anything goes and libraries are no longer traditional libraries where folks can go to study and think (meaning peace and quiet) but are now "community centers" for those who just want to hang out and BS!! Sad but one's got to go to Trump Country (namely, Long Island) to get a real library nowadays!

  I normally do not take the time to write reviews, however this felt very important to mention. I have two toddlers and I recently have been at the children's librarian Summer program and it was amazing. My children loved the arts and crafts projects and the wonderful collection of books that this library has at the children's department. It has a broad variety of colorful genre books and if the book is not available than the librarian, I believe her name is Lidia and she always provides the time to request the book when asked upon. She always goes above and beyond to satisfy the customer's and the kids love her. As a mother, its always rewarding to see a rich program, especially when the admission is free, but interesting at the same time. The children's room is nicely quiet and a comfortable atmosphere for my kid's to build their foundation of a learning environment. I am very pleased with the staff and my kids always pull me to go see the next program shows whenever possible, and are always excited to attend Lidia's creative and fun programs. I am very fortunate enough to have such a wonderful children's librarian for my kids. Thank you Glen Oaks Library!:)

  Love the library. I only live two blocks away. I'm there almost everyday. Everyone is amazing there. I been going to this library since I was a child. I was there when the had the old building, then they moved to a small area across the street and now back to there original location. Bigger and better. You are treated like family at this library. Everyone is welcomed, no matter your race or culture (I have seen other reviews).
