::This library is very nice but it is used as a Daycare for the asian elderly. Children as young as 6 years old are dropped off from the school bus to the library without adult supervision. The supervisor allow all this nonsense turning a blind eye to it. THE LIBRARY IS MORE OF AN ADULT DAYCARE FAR AS I CAN SEE. THESE SENIORS SPEND 6-7 HOURS A DAY IN THE LIBRARY NAPPING OR JUST SITTING.

::An amazing library! Unlike most libraries, this library isn't so retro it's more modern and technology like! 🙌 Amazing! It has amazing chairs! It was built around 2018, it's still new! Amazing library!

::Very rude staff, think they can boss you out just because they‘re the staff. This one girl through my drink away from the newspaper section while I was just in the computer section for 2 min to print one page. I was really in a hurry and explained that I’ll be real quick (drinks not allowed where I was going), and she got really pissed, either her or someone else shouted ‘throw it out’ as if I was doing something bad and they had to be the righteous one to save the world, and of course when I came back the drink was gone. Very typical for people of low social status and poor upbringing who finally get a little power, and they have to use it to make others obey their will, if not they’ll threat you then make things really hard for you, just because you’re against their will and they happen to have the power to punish you. Not pleasant women at all, and I bet if it was an attractive man she’ll just let him go. Rude, mean and unprofessional.

::Nice location with large floor to ceiling windows. The bright and open spaces make it a welcoming branch. There are also many spaces to sit and enjoy a book. Borrowing and returning books at this location are also easy with the many kiosks in place.

::UPDATE: Actually the most beautiful branch in the whole QPL system by far -- check out the stunning young redheaded reference librarian!!! -- the only problem (besides the bums, though at least they're not especially stinky here, usually) is that it's closed on Sundays! ORIGINAL REVIEW: Probably the most beautiful branch in the whole Queens system next to Flushing and even the much more modest Glen Oaks, unfortunately marred by an overzealous staff member who almost looks like that Mao-Suited character from 'Doonesbury' -- she patrols the floor like an idealistic junior high school hallway monitor watching out for folks sneaking a bite! Yeah there's no eating in the library but that's like jay-walking: hardly ever enforced -- 'cause it pales in comparison to smelly people or those who talk to themselves but staff never bothers these folks. Maybe they're especially touchy about noshing here due to the overwhelming immigrant Chinese population in the neighborhood, who are used to snacking in libraries...?
