::I transferred my daughter to Queen of Peace Catholic School this school year. I did so because of the wonderful things the principal has done to move our community. As a member of the Parish of over 20 years, I have seen many changes but NONE that have moved our community as Mona Griego and Father Thomas have done. God has truly blessed our community and in particular my family by not only being a part of this parish but as a member of this flourishing school. Mona Griego the principal of this school has been nothing more than a blessing to this school, our parish and my family for all that she has done and Lord willing will continue to do. I know that my child will always be safe in her care and receive the best education possible.

::My child was held against a concrete wall, while another child smashed his head against the wall. My child told his teacher he was being bullied. She sent a parent signature home w/the child that hit my son's head against wall. After mtg w/principal-Ms. Griego & my son's teacher, we were assured it would be handled. Almost 3 weeks later, nothing has been addressed. I was never notified by the school. My son told me. The principal said "well we don't know what happened, I'm out there everyday at 7:30am. " Guess her eyes were else where when this happened. She then turned it around on my son. Very disappointed in no communication. Left voicemail's, never heard back. Definitely agree on the LACK of communication. Leaving it up up to an 8 year old to relay iformation on what's happening at school is simply irresponsible.

::MY FAMILY HAD A GREAT EXPIERENCE WHEN SISTER DOROTHY WAS PRINCIPAL AT SCHOOL. NEW MANAGEMENT IS MORE LIKE A DICTATORSHIP, RATHER THEN THE UNDERSTANDING PEOPLE WE HAD BEFORE. MONA(PRINCIPAL)WANTS NO INPUT FROM PARENTS,AND WHEN YOU TRY TO GIVE INPUT,SHE GETS UPSET,AND ACCUSES YOU OF USING PROFANITY,AND HANGS PHONE UP, AND WILL HIDE FROM YOU ,RATHER THAN SIT DOWN AND HAVE A DISCUSSIOM. I WILL PRAY FOR ALL THE GOOD STAFF AND CHILDREN,THAT THEY DONT SUFFER FROM NEW MANAGEMENTS LACK OF TACK.
