I too an convinced that this facility killed my mother. She went in for observation of a diabetic wound on her toe and was forced to sign paperwork authorizing them full control of her finances. She was told that her house payments would be paid and not to worry. I encouraged her to leave as I would help her and when she returned to her residence there was a eviction notice on her door. Afraid of the unforeseen consequence of homelessness she returned to the facility only to have them issue a no contact order preventing me further contact with my mother. After her funds were depleted she died at the end of the month from a massive heart attach probably from excessive administration of insulin. I was not notified of her passing until 7 days after and in the meantime they dis-guarded all of her belonging and family heirlooms. With the co operation of the social worker. DO NOT LET YOUR LOVED ONES SPEND A NIGHT AT THIS INSTITUTION!!!

I'm fulling convinced the lack of care at this place Killed my father. As why would someone from one of the best hospitals in the area, be released to these THIEVES and then need to be returned to the Hospital couple days later to then pass. This may seem lengthy... But its also exactly what all the negative reviewers have been saying, but I bet they didn't have their loved ones there for 5 days for them to be sent back to the hospital dude to lack of care to then Pass away days later! Be afraid of this place. Literally look into ANY other options even if they cost more... This place.... is a sad EXCUSE for a Healthcare home! If I could Id have this place CLOSED! I say this out of anger but also discussed. My father (61) came to this facility to gain strength in his legs and core after a month long stay at Virginia Mason Hospital. Had trouble standing and walking. He was at this garbage shoot of a place for FIVE DAY! During that time he contracted Many bed sores (as it'll literally takes an hour for a nurse to respond, in which she may or not speak English, or might not be the right one to help). Also from inactivity his legs had swollen immensely. Was REFUSED COUGH SYRUP even though the hospital had given him some the day he was transferred and had no effect on why he was there and had a cough for days. Now they do offer 1hr a day physical therapy... maybe some days he was told a time and PT would never show and nurses never cared. Anyway due to the lack of their follow up with patients and lack of care my father was returned to Virginia Mason. In which on return nurses told me "bandages around his legs were cutting into him, they had hand written 'DO NOT REMOVE-PT' on the bandages!, they shouldn't have sent him there, they should be closed for this" literally doctors taking notes of everything wrong on him. I'm fulling convinced the lack of care at this place Killed my father. As why would someone from one of the best hospitals in the area, be released to these THIEVES and then need to be returned to the Hospital couple days later to then pass.

Having resided in this facility for almost 4 months now I can emphatically say to anyone considering turning the care of a family member, significant other or even the most despicable person in your life; Please, please, please look elsewhere! Grossly understaffed, most days a "patient care assistance" is tasked with caring for 8-10 patients. Many of these also have a limited grasp of English, and few, if any, patients speak Amarhic or Tagalog. It is not uncommon to have to wait 30 minutes or longer before someone responds to a call light. Their vaunted rehabilitation service is nothing but a means to bleed as much money as possible from insurance and Medicare and Medicaid. Etc, etc, etc....
