  Pure barre is great! The staff are always friendly and the instructors are very helpful and hands-on. There are lockers with keys, 3 changing rooms, 2 bathrooms, towels, and filtered water.

  The union square location is a good one with spacious studio and changing rooms! Love the people there too. The workout is amazingly good for toning your body. Some place you will want to keep going back.

  Just had the worst experience of any workout facility in NYC. Disgusting customer service, front desk staff publicly shaming consumers for injuries that require extra help. Embarrassed for this establishment.

  Many friends of mine have done Pure Barre and have recommended it so I decided to check it out. I attended a 9pm class in Union Square, which is later that I normally work out, but was the only slot I could get. I've done other bar classes before and this was pretty similar. The instructor was very nice and friendly. She brought all the new students in the center and made an effort to ask about injuries and got to know our names… She even remembered my name during the class, huge PLUS! The class was challenging, and a good work out! I was happy I attended. The studio itself is carpeted and everyone must wear socks. The lockers are easy to use and big. I didn't use the bathrooms, but my overall impression was the studio was very clean and professional.
