  Lisa the Property Manager was very helpful and knows what shes doing. I found out that I needed more space for all my stuff and she hooked me up with a space right next to the one I have. The place is clean well lit and well run. Highly recommended

  Lisa is amazing! Very friendly and professional and definitely knew what she was doing. She was a lifesaver. After graduation I needed to move out of the dorm and find a place to store my things for a month. A couple days prior, another storage facility called me to tell me that all their storage was completely full, even after I reserved my spot two weeks in advance. Soon after, I called Lisa and she was able to get me a larger storage space for a super affordable price. She even skipped her lunch break to help me out. Thanks Lisa!!

  Read yelp reviews. It’s more accurate than google for this place. If you don’t want a headache and you want your peace of mind. Do not. I say it again do not rent with this place. It is the most frustrating thing ever to try and get to your unit and you can’t because you are only allowed access when they say so. So if you have a job that gets it at 5 forget bout trying to get here while trying to beat the traffic. Since they changed the building hours, it is nearly impossible to get to your unit before closing. They used to be open early, I believe by 7am and allow gate access until 9pm, but now you can only access your unit when the office is open. They close the gate at 5:45, so even if you beat the Boston traffic, forget about it. This sucks for those who work long days and have a full time job. Consider a facility that actually has reasonable hours. Don’t waste your time paying $300 for an overpriced unit that you can’t access.

  Literally. Store. Your. Stuff. Anywhere. Else. I hate clutter and would willingly burden those whom I hold dear by being a hoarder than ever have to interact with any Customer Service Professional at this specific location. Every single visit I've made (my company has spaces here), I've left hoping that technology soon eliminates the need for human interaction, but only at this location and strictly for this staff. I work in hospitality and have been appalled by the disregard for facilitation I've witnessed and been subjected to at this Dorchester Public Storage location. It has been a passion project to be sure that my company relocates our assets elsewhere, regardless of premium, by End of Quarter. Oh, and the egress/ingress logistics for the driveway/parking lot/loading dock could have been designed better by my nephew through his Sims-like Urban Development Video Games. My nephew is 5. Highly recommend entering from South Bay Plaza's exit near Target.

  This place is good, customer service is excellent. They are pretty nice and very helpful. The space is clean and big. Just like they said on the website. It’s the best place to storage something if you need! Recommended!
