  This is the 4th company I have used for my heat pump. Proactive is the BEST. Always on time, polite, and fair prices. Also used plumbing service. Ted is competent and respectful. Telephone staff is concerned and follows up with calls. I have recommended Proactive to friends.

  I am more than pleased to recommend Proactive Home Services. Once known as Arctic Air (not to confuse anyone) our HVAC installation was done several years ago. Job was immaculate and thorough. Michael Scannapieco, owner is meticulous on performance and outcome of the job and his staff is friendly, accommodating and normally available to assist your needs. They recently branched out to plumbing with the combination of the two services and my annual service contract I'm a happy customer.

  This was the first time I used them...my neighbor referred them and used them a few times...said they were good. Men arrived on time for the initial start up inspection and they were excellent. Professional , clean and friendly. They covered their feet when they came in , explained and took the time to show me what should be replaced and why and what the parts do. Turned out I had a few old switches and one old capacitor. The connections were pretty rusted and the contacts were dirty so it made sense to replace them now prior to them malfunctioning in the summer heat and making an emergency service call that would be costly. They also blew out the drain lines, checked Freon and replaced missing caps and screws. I had asked them to open the covers so I can clean the outside units out and they did it for me And held the fan open so I could use my shop vac to get out some dirt and leaves stuck to the bottom....They said it wasn’t necessary but I’m a neat freak. Overall I was pleased with them and would use them again / refer them. My units are old and look old but they didn’t try to sell me a new unit. I feel like they weren’t out to sell me and we’re honest.

  After dealing with a few different local A/C companies over the years, finding Proactive was like a breath of fresh air! It is obvious from your first contact with the company that they care about their customers - you receive email and telephone notifications about when the tech will arrive, including his picture! Communication is so important and Proactive understands this. Mike, the owner, is very accessible and also hands-on. You will feel confident about a good outcome from Day 1. Danny installed a new system for us today and it's so good to know that when the summer (finally!) gets here, our house will be cool and comfortable. Thanks again Proactive!!

  I can't say enough about what a great job Proactive does. It starts with the fact that they actually have live people answering the phone when you call and is followed by very professional service all the way through. Itemized up front billing, walking you through what they're doing step by step and a finished job for a great price. My service man was Danny and he was, like everything else, incredibly courteous and professional. They were quick and cleaned up after they were finished. Like I said, I can't say enough about the great job they did.
