  The atmosphere isn't all this and that, but the food is authentic and delicious. I always get the suckling pig from this place during the holidays. They also make a delicious Tripe ala Porto. Worth the visit and the prices are reasonable. Old fashion service in the restaurant. The bar tenders in the bar area can be alittle scatter brained so check your take out order. They once have me someone else's order. When I noticed it wasn't mine Then they told me that I hadnt ordered what I had ordered. The manager had to figure it out and find my order.

  Our stay in Newark, NJ was made extra special with a few visits to this pub which was walking distance from our hotel (Hilton Penn Station). The staff and other customers were all so friendly and gave good advice about the neighborhood. I recommend this place for burgers and brews.
