  Superb collection. I have a good job but no man bun and beard so I felt out of place here.

  While I love Powell's books, this is not one of their retail locations. This address is their distribution warehouse and some offices; it's not open to the public. If you're looking for the City of Books, flagship, Powell's store, it's the one on Burnside and 10th.

  Powell's is a place to get lost in on a Saturday morning. This particular location is a bookworm's fantasy. There are multiple floors, tiered levels, huge selection, lots of products related to book stories and fantasy worlds. They even have some games, gifts and trinkets that all make for great holiday surprises. There's a nearby employee ready to help wherever you are. It's well lit, warm, and inviting. It is often very busy, which can be a bit overstimulating for some. I recommend taking a trip to this Powell's location if you haven't already.
