Coffee is great, hours of operation are not. 11AM is too late for a coffee spot to open.

When describing the beans in stock the man behind the counter said simply, 'We have many kinds.' And.....? The staff did not share my love or nascent understanding of coffee. They did not enlighten me, or give me tips on brewing. They did not attempt to talk shop. It seemed to be an empty store with two robots: one for weighing beans, and one for dispensing percolated coffee. The only time in my life that I actually wanted to talk shop with a salesperson, I get a mute, disinterested staff. I'll surely come back many times because I love coffee and live close.

Great bean selection, super reasonable prices. Highly recommended. Great Baristas for drinks on-site as well. Stop buying ground coffee at the supermarket!!

Best place for whole bean coffee. I have been getting my coffee there for 7 years now.

Where else can you get a large organic coffee for $2 bucks? Nowhere! I heard about Porto Rico about eight months ago. A friend of mine treated me to a freshly brewed cup of their coconut coffee while I was visiting her. Yes, co-co-nut! If you know me, you are aware that I love everything coconut. So needless to say that I was hooked. Recently walking around I walked right into this store not realizing that it was the same store where my friend had gotten her delicious coffee. This store is amazing. A coffee lovers delight. The high I get from walking inside this store is indescribable. It could be due to my highly sensitive sense of smell. The coffee aroma arouses my brain, the right way. Porto Rico is one of my favorite places now. I am a fan of their delicious almond croissants as well. My preference always makes me gravitate towards their dark roast coffee. No light stuff for me but I am sure that light roast is great too. If you need coffee machines, a French press, tea cups, and other cute little knickknacks, they got it here. The only bad thing about PR is that they open late, at 11 am. If they start opening earlier, I will have a serious problem.
