Always a great local spot in 12 south that thankfully never gets overwhelmed with the tourists. Coffee is consistently top notch and their food is great! Got their new Kale salad. Loaded with bacon, goat cheese, almond, and a fried egg. The server that brought it to me was excited to tell me it was her first time making it and DANG she did a good job. I don’t think they have gluten free bread, but whatever the salad was perfect. Porch is good for dogs! Except there’s annoying construction next door. Didn’t ruin my lunch though and didn’t scare my dog. I can always count on this place having seating!

This was the first coffee shop in 12th south. The manager is fantastic and has made a lot of great changes since taking over several years ago. I started coming here when they had cubicles. I'm kind of sad they are gone but I'm sure I'm one of the few. They're coffee is really good and fairly priced. Probably some of the cheapest in town for the quality of the product. They have a great selection for food for both breakfast and lunch. They can pretty much make anything that includes eggs and a bagel. I typically get a scrambled egg on a whole wheat bagel with tomato, spinach, and cheese. It's delicious and only about $4.95 I think.

Great service, a latte made correct and the very best bowl of oatmeal I've ever had...seriously!

Lived in Nashville for 7 years and never made it here, but on my visit back gave it a try: I regret not getting here sooner! A great coffee shop, all the things you want: great space, solid menu, and great staff. First refill is free for your regular brew coffee, second and after will cost you .75, on the honor system, which is more than fair. Loved the outdoor seating, as well. Don't make the same mistake I did, get over to Portland Brew!
