  Came here for a nice quiet birthday dinner with my girlfriend. It was great. Definitely on the pricey side but worth it. Drinks were amazing. The fillet of grouper was great and the brussel sprouts were delicious! It's small, intimate. 👍👍

  The service in this restaurant is exactly the kind of service you expect in a good restaurant: excellent. The food...GREAT!!!!

  Delicious food and craft cocktails! The owner also knows quite a bit about wine and takes care to match it with exactly what you are eating. The shrimp salad had nice seasoning and chopped lettuce which I liked. The dressing was light and full of flavor. The whiskey cocktail had a delightful flavor and the wine was also to my liking. Great ambiance, efficient service, a wonderful experience all around!

  We were seeking “meat & potatoes” while checking out Hudson Yards progress and found Porteno. We were a bit surprised to find the place packed at 6 PM on a Saturday night. They offered us a table with the condition we would be able to complete our meal in 60 minutes... well, from the grilled calamari appetizer to the delicious entrees; Salmon Patagonica & Grilled Skirt Steak, we were all very please with the preparation of each dish! The red quinoa with roasted butternut topped with crispy onions (accompaniment) aside the salmon was totally awesome!!! The grilled skirt steak was a winner as well, along with a uniquely prepared “smashed” potato topped with melted mozzarella cheese. This was garnished with a flame kissed sweet pepper! Total satisfaction at this tiny gem, we’ll be back soon!
