  A wide selection of wine of all varieties, from popular to rare, bargain priced to expensive. Steve is very knowledgeable about all of their offerings - wine and liquors alike - and is a great source of recommendations.

  This place is so clean and the selection of Long Island wines is amazing. The man who rang me up, not sure if he's the owner, but offered us cold bottles instead of the room temperature ones we grabbed and he gave us a free bottle of Raphael Reisling that a salesman left the day before (was still very good). Highly recommend this place! I'll definitely be a returning customer.

  There are plenty of bigger liquor stores on Long Island, there just aren't any better ones. Forget the giant warehouse stores with aisles full of cheap swill you wouldn't give to your enemy. Port Jeff Liquors stocks the perfect range of great wines, whiskeys, rums, and more — from the high end to the affordable — but all of them pass the owner's stringent standards of quality. Meaning: this store doesn't round out its lineup with cheap stuff or expensive stuff just for the sake of having a variety. It's either good or it doesn't get in the door. Buy wine by the case and you get 20% off on the spot; no handing out personal information so they can call and e-mail you. In short: this place rules.
