::I happened to be out that way last night for an Event (April 4th 2023. I order the Popcorn shrimp 2pc Tender Combo with regular home style Mac and cheese, sprite and Cajun fries I received chicken wings, thighs/Breast, coleslaw, Cajun fries that were soggy and on the brink of being cold, and my sprite. I called today and the guy who answers says “how can I help you” I ask to speak with a manager and he literally repeats his opening phrase, which I get, this may be picky but repeating a phrase does not signal “hi, I’m the manager” so I asked for the manager again and he says that he is the manager. I proceed to tell him my problem and he says I’ll have to come out to get it replaced. I let him know that I live across town and that that is a drive and he says that’s the only thing he can do. Obviously I’ll check my bags before leaving.. I just want to make everyone aware that this isn’t the place… rude service, old food. if they’re careless with the customer, they’re careless with the food 🥘 🗑️.

::Placed a mobile order, went through the drive-thru to pick it up, they had us pull forward to wait. Watched them serve at least 5-6 other cars, after over 20 minutes I went inside to see if my order was ready and get some extra sauces. Employee is just sitting at the front counter eating (big no no in the food industry) not a care in the world, and had just completely forgotten about us and our order. So we paid over $40 for cold food. Popeyes is better in the hood, trust me.

::Clarence, the manager, overheard my interaction with an associate (who was also pleasant) about issues with tartar sauce and the app. He stepped in and got both resolved. Side note: Tartar sauce shows on the app but is unavailable. Please do not just omit the sauce in orders. Please contact the customer or replace with closest substitute.

::You cannot choose your pieces of chicken and they give you a hard time when you request fresh. It’s too much to ask of them. Poor spot because I love Popeyes. But in this state…they suck!! Eat somewhere else if you can.

::I had the WORST experience last night at this location! I received and inaccurate order and what I did receive was cold, stale, and very hard! Upon making the 20mins drive back to the restaurant after realizing they pretty much had just threw whatever they wanted to in my bags, I encountered even more incompetence from the employees. Then, I was informed that I couldn't get a refund because it was out the the "window time". How?!!! This location is HORRIBLE, especially for Carmel, IN. It needs to be shut down immediately. Pictured below is part of the meal I received. I ordered a 4pc white, clearly that's not correct. Also, the shrimp combo I ordered resulted in a few pieces of hard, stale, inedible "shrimp".
