::Best ever!!! A true hidden gem! I was driving by and spotted it. They were a little busy but I knew I had to turn around and try it and I am glad I did! This will become my new lunch spot!

::The owner is very friendly and when he's there the food is even better. There are many taco options, which are very good, but one of the better ones is the Alambre, which is roll-your-eyes delicious. If you are new to this taco truck this is your best bet. The chicken is very good too, (the place is named after it and means "char grilled chicken") and highly recommend if you are there during lunch hours. But if you were there in the evening it seems the other options are going to be better choices, as I believe the chicken is prepared in the morning. One item that seems to be exclusive to this restaurant is the authentic Oaxacan tamales, which are wrapped in banana leaves rather than corn husks. This is the original tamale; corn husks were used later in history. But any way, the banana leaf gives a subtle yet distinct flavor to the tamales, and if you are looking for something that you can't get anywhere else (around here) then get these. Another honorable mention would be the Conchinita pibil, a Yucatano classic that is harder to find round these parts. They have a "vegetariano taco", but it has beans on it that have hot dog slices included, so you can order a quesadilla with veggies instead and get avocado slices and stuff if you have an actual vegetarian with you. But this place is not a first choice for vegetarians. They also have sweet corn tamales which are very good. The green sauce is what this place is famous for, and it's amazing. It's a simple sour cream and jalapeno based sauce that will have you pouring more on with every bite. I also love the red sauce, which is unique in that it's tomatillo based, not tomato, giving it a subtle sweet and sour flavor that enhances the chilies' flavors. The red color actually comes from the guajillo and arbol chilies. They also have specials all the time, like gorditas with chicharones or empanadas. Being this is a taco truck, you have to sit outside or in your car. But if it's the evening, try going over to the Beehive Lounge to get warm. You can order an adult beverage there, then sneak out the back door and get your food, then come back in and eat there. They are pretty damn cool about it. They also sometimes buy tacos for their patrons on Tuesdays.
