Place was nice. It was chill and we were able to have a conversation and watch the Texans game. Bar tender obviously knew the beer better than the wine.

I want to like this place. I really do as there is very little options for wine in Mansfield. I have given this a place a few tries and here is what I have found. Half the time we walk in, sit down at the bar, only to find no one that works there around. One time we sat there for five minutes and no one ever came out from the back so we just left. The hours are also a little bit odd to me. They should be open earlier on the weekends. In my experience, the staff doesn't know a whole lot about wine. Maybe I am wrong but generally the staff can't make recommendations on what they have that I might like based on the suggestions I give them. In other wine places, we usually have conversations about wine but generally I find the staff disengaged and not interested in having a conversation. That's part of the fun of going to a wine bar. I go there to learn and connect with others and their experiences on wine. I am no wine expert by any means. However, I feel that whomever chooses the wines on the list has a palette that leans towards the fruity and sweet side. Many of the wines on the list are from the more "gimmicky" labels. We struggle to find a bottle hat we really like here. I really want to like this place and want to go there more. Like I said I am no wine expert but feel free to reach out to me because I feel like I could make some suggestions that would work well in this market. If you're interested in discussing more, I would be happy to help and I am pretty easy to find.
