The staff at this shop are top notch. I went in as a person with beginning interest in Tri. So the only knowledge I have is what I’ve seen and read, nothing specific. I went in with my family and was greeted by an enthusiast gentleman named Tod. After explaining my reason for coming in, he filled me in with tons of knowledge about the sport, differences in bikes and equipment and shared the process of how they do fittings and help narrow the process of selecting the right bike for me. Along the way, he asked how much free time I had because he had so much information to share. When I was done with my educational experience, I started looking for my wife and child that had disappeared while I was soaking up information like a sponge. I walked outside to find the owners wife Jameka guiding my son along on a bike in a less than busy and safe area of the parking lot. My son hadn’t grasp the whole riding a bike idea leading up to this experience. The bike she fit him on was quite a bit more expensive than I wanted to pay before he learned to ride. (Do not be confused, the shop did not have the bike overpriced) After seeing the quality of the bike and how my son’s interest level changed based on the customer service Jameka showed, I decided to get the bike for him. Think about it, when is the last time someone at a store took time to give you over the top service by doing something they didn’t have to do? The idea of that level of customer service has been lost in today’s age. So much so that it really stood out in Playtri Alliance. Not to mention, Jameka had this radiant smile on her face the whole time she was helping my son. She assured us that after about 3 good days of trying he would know how to ride. So over Memorial Day we put her theory to the test. She was right...he now knows how to ride!!! 😁 The employees, from the owners on down, love what they are doing and have a true passion for bikes. This is not a high pressure sales shop. They give you the information you crave, no more, no less and let you decide. If you are an impulse buyer, they will sell it to you. But that’s NOT the way they have designed their business at this shop!! I can’t recommend this place enough to people interested in cycling, biking or Tri.

I do not recommend this store. I went in looking for a bicycle for someone else and found a potential used bike. The bike was a nice brand, but: it was used and probably about 4 years old and $80 overpriced, the bearings were cup and ball, not modern sealed bearings, and it was quick release only even though it was a hardtail mountain bike. So, I had some questions to put my mind at ease: Is there any room to move on the price? Answer: No Is there a return period? Answer: No, it's not a brand we carry Can I put sealed bearings in the hubs? Answer: We'll have to call the manufacturer and our parts supplier to find out. Check back with us tomorrow. I checked back the next day. They said, Kogel, the only brand of bearings they carry, didn't know if they had any that would fit, the Felt website doesn't say what size they are, and the only way they can find out is to disassemble the hub. They never called Felt, if they had, Felt would have told them the information I needed to know. They also said, "pay $35 to to have us rebuild the hub and we can tell you". They did not want to take the 10 minutes they would have needed to open one side of the hub and take measurements. They also reiterated, "it's not a brand we carry." Morale of the story, you might as well save money and buy from Craigslist, a factory direct bike sale website, or another bicycle shop off in the local area that actually tries to answer your questions regardless of if it's a manufacturer "they carry". BTW Playtri, you do carry it because you are selling it. They lost a customer, the other bike shop in the area also charges less for service and is better informed, they will continue to have my business. If a bicycle shop expects to stay in business in the modern tech age, they need to be able to provide something that a 20 second Google Search doesn't. EDIT - The response below from the owner appears untruthful. Bicycle Blue Book is what I used to see that the bike I was interested in had a MAX value approximately $80 below what they were charging. Another bike shop in the area charges $30 for FULL hub rebuilds, not just going in and measuring one bearing, which this shop wanted $35 for. BUYER BEWARE.

Weather you are a newbie, a weekend warrior (like me) or a long distance super fast young gun they can help you with anything. When I had mishap with my bike and had to be sent it back to the manufacturer they took care of everything and keep me posted on what was going on. Took it apart and then put it all back together just like new. Even thought they didn't sell me my bike. Very helpful staff of experts that can talk to you at your level. I suggest you drop by and visit them if you need a bolt or a whole new bike or just get some information.

Went in for service on my daughter's bike and was very pleased. Staff was super friendly and helpful. They had my daughter's bike back to me the next day working beautifully. We will definitely be back.

Super friendly and knowledgeable staff! Very customer experience oriented and not just focused on making the sale! I would recommend over any other bike shop around. Jason runs a great shop with great employees.
