  It’s a decent gym, nothing amazing but you get what you need. I’ve been going here for over a year and have a pretty good idea about it. The place is pretty clean and the staff is usually quite friendly. They have a large selection of equipment so if you are trying to get fit this is great. Locker rooms are pretty big and I like them quite a lot, bathrooms are pretty clean at least for women. I would never take a shower there though unless it was a complete emergency, I just don’t fee comfortable tanking showers in public places like that. They do have tanning but in my opinion it’s so not worth it to even use the beds. I know from experience how tanning beds work and can guarantee that they don’t change the laps which is why you don’t really get any color whatsoever no matter what tanning lotion you use or how often you go to the tanning. Beds are more than likely never cleaned by staff either as they say the people have to clean it after themselves which we all know no one does. I would much rather go to a tanning salon like Spirit Of Beauty for tanning where I know I’ll actually get color for a very affordable price, I know for sure that everything is sanitized properly and that I’ll be getting the best service for my money.

  This isn't just this location but apparently all planet fitness... Three staples to any bodybuilding routine are the bench, squat, and deadlift. Planet fitness does not have any of them. It's all cardio equipment and cable machines.

  Decent gym. Open early. Has tanning and showers besides regular gym equipment. Friendly staff.

  I'm a black card member, the Riverhead location is just NASTY. The gym smells like piss!!! The bathroom was just digusting, like it hadn't been cleaned in a while, and it was only 9am!! Can't do squats or dead lifts without having an audience in your butt hole!! Rearrange or relocate. Very uncomfortable. I went to other locations, but this is the worst. If I didn't have an appointment in the area, I would've left as soon as I walked in. F

  It's Planet Fitness a very cheap gym with good equipment and decent staff at most places
