What a find! This will be our new go-to for breakfast when we come to the City! Don't let the scaffolding on the outside scare you away. The inside of the building is an old Chicago gem. The food was excellent. The service was fast and courteous. The seating outside the main cafe with the high ceilings gives it a cool European feel. There is a men's and women's restroom in the basement. If it's locked you can get the key from the restaurant hostess. This is an awesome Chicago gem you need to visit!

We came here a couple of weeks ago and it has one of the best breakfast in town, also it seems one of the few that opens early in the morning. The venue is amazing. I had the french toast with scrambled eggs. Omelets here are great too and portions are generous. Service has been excellent and personnel helped in any way to make the experience memorable. Will be back!

Found this diner while put for an early tour. Traditional diner in a vintage building lobby. The decorative lobby does add to the dining experience. Really nice, big menu. They seem pretty busy, but the staff are bustling and taking care of people quickly and pleasantly. The food was great. Highly recommended for breakfast.

Definitely consider stopping here if you are walking around the loop during breakfast time. It is a wonderful little Cafe in a beautiful building which has a tall ceiling and nice little tables. I got the eggs benedict and also a screwdriver. The screwdriver had the right kick to it to help me get through the soreness of walking over a dozen miles the day before, and the eggs Benedict were extremely flavorful. The staff were also helpful and friendly.

I had a wonderful omelette, called "veggie lovers" with onions, mushroom, spinach. I don't like bell peppers so I had them replaced with avocado. They don't accept substitutions and charged me for the avocado but it's fair enough as the omelette was simply lovely. Courteous staff and spectacular location inside the liberty-style Pittsfield building. I'll come back!
