  I've had my heart set on a swinging chair for five years. Not only did I go to your store once to try to buy this I went there twice. The first time the chair was on sale 15 percent off we explained to them that we would like to use our 20 percent off and stack the reward club coupon of 15 percent (or normal sale plus our 20 -same thing) they insisted that since it was on sale we couldn't use our coupon. It went off sale. We went back to purchase. Called ahead of time to make sure they had the blue chair and white base in stock. They said yes. We drove 30 minutes to the store just to find out that the white base they had in stock was "a little beat up" we were going to get the blue chair at that store and drive to another store to pick up the base where they insisted that we could use both our 20 percent off coupon and the 15 percent for opening a card. We were not immediately approved. We asked if we could still get the 15 percent off that you can get with opening up just the rewards and not the credit card. They claimed that special ended yesterday (on a Saturday seems a little strange) I think they were pushing for me to try for a credit card after my boyfriend was not approved. We were able and willing to spend 500 dollars on a chair. Pier 1 clearly doesn't want our money. I will never set foot in another pier 1 for as long as I live.

  This store location was so incredibly accommodating to me and had in stock exactly what I needed when no other store had the item. Wonderful customer service, a great experience overall!

  I went into the store hoping I could buy the outdoor furniture that they put outside the store. There were three sale associates and I told two of them that I'm interested in buying the furniture. None of them helped me. One of them was helping a customer, whom already left the store, looking for an item online. Worst customer service and logistics ever!
