  Tue, Nov 29. Visited my local store to find 3 employees shouting at each other with trash-talk and laughing so loud I couldn't focus on what I was looking for. This went on for the entire time I was in store; about 15 min. I wanted to tell them to shut the F-up, don't you know that is unprofessional and inappropriate? I didn't say anything! I found what I wanted and left as quick as possible. When I checked out the younger guy with short spiky dreads attended. I said, "Hi how are you today?" He grunted some indecipherable words. Bagged the items and said nothing as he handed me the receipt. No thank you, no eye contact, no smile. As soon as I took the bag he turned back to the other counter to continue gossip talk with other 2 employees. I wondered if the manager gives her employees any training in how to address the public and appropriate behavior???? I've been a regular at this store for 5 years and have never seen these idiots before. If they are the reg employees now, I'm going to Metarie stores.

  I love allll Pier One's. But the selection and workers here make you feel "happy".
