  The best gelato I've had since Bologna Italy. The owners take pride and what they do and will be glad to talk with you about it. Hundreds of different flavors served a few at a time

  I had been looking for authentic Florentine gelato in NOLA & not finding it until Piccola!!😍😁 This is the real deal. Beautiful design, great location & truly perfect gelato. I look forward to trying the crepes next time. The delightful owner told us it is her husband's family recipe😚😚😚

  We loved the gelato flavors! Nice strong coffee, dark chocolate, creamy peanut, & delicious strawberry. The girls particularly loved taking bites of the salted red peanut and the strawberry together. I had espresso latte and chocolate together. Yum!!!!

  Honestly the best gelato sincerely Italy! Beautiful and thoughtfully decorated space with an interesting way to display the available flavors. Absolutely true to flavor tastes, each smooth and creamy. The owner is genuine and kind and greets each customer like friends. Cappuccino is very very good. Tip: street parking available.

  So clean it gleams! Ross and his wife are doing amazing work, unbelievable little gem of a shop! Flavors are all amazing, ranging from familiar to the far out and surprising. If you're seriously into gelato, ask about their equipment and ingredients! These guys could write a dissertation, this is frozen dairy on a level at the top of the tower. Super sweet people, a must visit in the neighborhood.
