I took my dog to pet smart twice for grooming and both were very positive experiences. The groomers there are clearly passionate about dogs.

If I could give negative stars I would. I normally don’t write poor reviews, but I’m honestly so disappointed with this location. We took our pup, Ashley, to be groomed here and she’s been sick ever since. She’s been refusing to eat, coughing non stop(ever hear a dog cough? It’s heart breaking) and has been throwing up . We rushed her to the vet and they told us it was kennel cough and for the life of us we couldn’t figure out how she got it. She isn’t around other dogs very often and we’ve never put her in a kennel. The vet asked us if we recently got her groomed and what do you know, we did. At this pet smart location. There really needs to be some sort of system in place preventing this from happening. Make sure the animals you take in for grooming are healthy so other animals don’t suffer. I’ve had dogs all my life, always brought them to be groomed at various locations (even pet smart locations) and have never had this happen before. Kennel cough is extremely contagious and can even result in death. We trust our animals into their care, and there should be a policy that does not allow things like this to happen. I know the fault is not entirely on pet smart, the fault is also on the dog owner that brought their sick pup to be groomed. Shame on the owner for not caring about spreading an infectious disease and shame on pet smart for not noticing or having preventative measures

Went in as a first time puppy owner with so many questions! A younger staff member was kind enough to not only walk me through all of my pups essentials but also explaining everything thoroughly. She was awesome!
