  Not reliable or upfront with the upgrade and conversion process. I am not surprised to see such low scores on their review. Please use caution before doing business with PETRO home heating oil. You will be disappointed and frustrated.

  Worst company in the world!!!.I wish i could give them ZERO stars. This is the Most unprofessional and disgusted human being on the face of the earth. I have been with them for 3 years and they basically never cleaned my boiler. until one day they could not fix the boiler and asked me to get a new one. even though there is nothing wrong with the boiler. If you want to save your self please stay away from this company. None of the tech know what the hell they are doing. They were putting wrong parts on my boiler and could not figure it out. and now rather then fixing my boiler they messed up my boiler and on top they suspended my account. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THEM!!.

  Extremely disgusted with Petro oil. Two babies in the house and going on two days without heat and not able to reach a single customer rep. I understand their call volume is extremely high but an established company like this should have contingencies to handle weather emergencies like this. Literally on hold for over an hour only to be cut off, call back and get a message that all circuits are busy. That was my entire day yesterday. Good luck ever getting my business again

  Absolutely disgusted. I wish I can go to negative stars because that’s how disappointed I am. I called at 4pm yesterday and they finally came at 8:30 this morning, when they told me I was an emergency call!! When my husband had called at 7am, they told him that maybe he can take his family out for the day. My husband said he works in this line of business and understand they are busy but we have a 3 year old at home and this is not acceptable. The woman on the phone said well maybe you can fix it, that way they didn’t have to send anyone, excuse me??? So now after 3 hours of fixing and the technician leaving because he had to get parts. When he finished up, nothing was cleaned up. No consideration of taking out the old pipes to the garbage. He had said nothing about what had to get done, told my husband to flip on the switch and everything should work. He didn’t test anything or try to see if anything was working, he just had us sign and walk out. I took plenty of pictures and wish I could leave them on here for everyone to see what was left. After all this I have heat going to the apartment upstairs and hot water but no heat still on my first floor. Still waiting for a technician to come to the house because once again we became a priority and still waiting for services. Let’s just say, this has been no where near pleasant services and to only think I am the tenant in the house. If I could cancel my contract, I would!!! Petro hasn’t heard the end of me yet!

  I am the licensed professional engineer and I am shocked. I am going through the worst customer service by Petro. They have monopolized customers with their shady services and contracts. They custom design their methodology for deliveries. Their tech will create work orders that bring in more money to the business And if someone try to get rid of them they have a catch of early termination fee. In my situation I have kids and senior citizen in the house and I always made payment on time. Their tech wanted me to repair oil tank as it may leak any time and they stopped oil deliveries to my house until I change the tank. I contacted a third party oil delivery company and they told me that my tank is OK and I started using the other company to have the oil delivered. Still they are delivering and tank never leaked even after the extreme heating degree days. Petro self terminated my account and now charging me $399. Dissapointed at Petro technicians and their contract terms. Yesterday 12/22/2016 while discussing my situation with one of the supervisors at their customer service, I experienced the worst customer service with the tone that was used by him against me and not letting me complete my statements and arguments. In the end, i expect Petro to remove the $399 early termination fee and resolve this dispute with kindness to their aged customer.
