With the Potions and Pixels event we had a blast and the bar served awesome drinks. I would recommend dropping by for the events there as the atmosphere there is pretty laid back and open. I added images of what went down for me personally.

Petra's Bar is a friendly unassuming place where everyone is welcome. They host a variety of performers. You Just have to check their event calendar on their web site. I was there for a LGBT event hosted by Transcend. Singing dancing comedy and a drag show. Great night.

Bartender was extremely rude. Kicked my friend out because she ordered a beer and then walked away to dance without getting it. When I walked up to the bar to ask what happened he took my beer and said I had to leave. When I told him to give the beer back or give me the money I paid for it, he immediately called 911. Never got a reason for why we were all asked to leave. I had a group of about 10 people who were the only customers in there and they were all kicked out. I didn't leave until the cops came and told me to, but still never got an explanation. None of us will ever go back. When I came back the next day to get my friends wallet that was left there when she was kicked out, the boss of the batender that night spoke to me. I found out that the bartender made up a story that he had cut us all off because we had drank too much and were all trying to fight him. Not surprising that he would do that to cover himself. Hopefully his boss did something after finding out the truth, but I highly doubt it. If you're not the typical looking crowd that goes there it seems like they don't want you there.

It doesn't really pick up on a Saturday night until late in the night like 11pm. However, the music was lovely... Something called Afrohouse this night and it was a good music. Cover fee is $10 and not enough seating is the only reason i give it 3 stars.
