  Giving 2 stars because the employee who assisted us was very nice. However, we purchased a Mickey Mouse Platy, brought her home and got her acclimated to the water. About 20 minutes after I put her in the water we noticed that she has a very long worm looking thing coming out of her anus and she was not swimming and laying on her side. We took her out to treat her and she died. This is not the first time I purchased from Petland Discounts and a fish had something wrong and died. Most of the fish that come from them are covered with Ich and other diseases. Stay away from this place when it comes to purchasing fish.

  Has a decent stock of accessories for dogs cats and fish. They are not the best place for food but have other items that you need for pets

  I brought my 5 month old puppy there and he was afraid to take the stairs. Two employees took it upon themselves to coach him and motivate him up the stairs and rewarded him once he made it up. Up until that point, my puppy was very intimidated by stairs...when we got home that night, he was a completely different pup. He was running up and down our building stairs as if he'd been doing that all his life! Thanks guys--I just wish I could've gotten your names to properly thank you. The staff there are super outgoing EXCEPT this one guy...I don't know his name either but he doesn't like to help anyone ever... Calling the store and asking a question will leave you on an eternal hold and sometimes disconnection. Vetco was great, the groomers are very nice, and my current dog trainer is also pretty cool. My puppy always looks forward to going there.
