Fun for adults and kids. The new Human Hall opened in May 2018 and is a great upgrade with lots of hands on activities. The robot area is fun but the robots always seem to have dead batteries when we visit. Best to come after 2 during the week as it won't be overrun with school kids on field trips because they're on their way out. If you buy a family plus membership you can get into the Heard Museum in McKinney and Fort Worth museum as well for free.

My boyfriend and I went here for a date and I should say that this is a good place if you're both science nerds and interested in learning new things together. I personally enjoyed the displays where you check out one display then the other from the crystals to the astronomical section. The robotics area was definitely packed with families and kids I'm assuming mostly because of the interactive displays that lets kids play with the machines and the robots. There were other areas where adults can play too like the athletics and fitness section where you can race against an athlete or the fastest running animals. Tl;dr: Definitely one of the places to see when in Dallas.

Came for a birthday party invite which was good. The staff did great. Plan at least 3 hours to see the museum. My 6yo gravitated to areas of interest and the look of amazement on his face is priceless! The 5 and under kids area is a great experience for the younger kids. Definitely a place for all ages.

Absolute best part of our trip to Texas. Will absolutely do this again the next time we go. This museum is SO INTERACTIVE and great for little hands to touch and learn. My son had so much fun he didn't want to leave. Also they have a great dining area so you don't have to leave to go get food and it is comparably priced to what a restaurant would charge. Awesome. Just make sure you reserve an entire day for this since there is so much to do.

This museum is a full day! We were there from 10 when it opened until 3 o'clock and even skipped a whole floor because We had somewhere else to be. We spent extra for the space exhibit, and it was worth it to my family of 3 with a 10 year old boy. The dinosaurs are really cool, as was the gems and minerals. There were a lot of helpful people working there around exhibits offering information. We went on Good Friday, so there were a lot of kids not being very well-monitored, but we still enjoyed it.
