  Pep Boys Auto had been my go to for all my auto maintenance needs for the last 5 years since I relocated. Regular oil changes, the occasional tire needs and the basics seem to be all that Pep Boys can handle. I had to give up my car for more than ten months, no loaner car, then once I picked up my car it had to be towed to another Pep Boys where they perform the same work that I paid for more than ten months prior! A year later they decided to put a new engine in, then I couldn't get it to smog for two months after. Five tickets towing costs and $3700 dollars later my car was never the same. The Check engine light keeps coming on, the transmission had a leak, electric ignition issues all happened after Pep Boy supposedly fixed my car. The additional costs of $2500 was incurred with only a six month warranty coverage for the used engine that I thought was new!
