  Pep Boys on Hempstead Turnpike is the best auto care for my car. The staff are very patient, courteous and knowledgeable. They are friendly and will assist you with all you ask about. They rate 5 stars with me for many years.

  I came in to change my tires for my car. Edward who happened to be working on his day off helped me get set up. He told me it would take an hour once they get the car in. When I was here last time it took 2 hours, the day I came in (Saturday) they were so busy I didn't find parking close by. To my surprise and delight I was out in under an hour with Edward's help. Very nice and so thankful for his help!

  THEY SUCK. They deserve no stars what so ever. The staff is under trained and do not know what they are doing. DO NOT GO TO THEM. The most you will get out of them is a waste of time. You wait for hours and receive nothing. I waited 2 hours for what they said was an inspection, mean while I asked for my brakes to be changed. Horrible service. There’s no communication. CUSTOMER SERVICE is clearly the last thing they care about. There’s no one ever at the registers. Corporate needs to come down and see things for themselves.

  Great energy from Nicole (service manager) ..she was patient and helpful! And Joel (mechanic) was extremely helpful too even though I returned minutes after closing time to ask about something under my car!... He had it lifted right away and the panel fixed right there and then! Thanks, this is definitely a one stop shop for your car!

  You guys are lucky you’re getting a start. I brought my car to get my tires changed. Paid to get 2 of my tires to get changed, and rotated. I waited for hours just for them to change only one of my tires, and not rotated my tires. All things i paid for. So as i was driving through out the week my tire light came on. When i checked my tire i realized the tire that i paid to be changed wasn’t changed. I knew this because the tire had a bubble in it. When i went back to pep boys they asked me if i was sure if i paid for it. I showed my receipt and they’d said they will look into it. Once they looked at my car the mechanic said my tire was fairly new that’s why he didn’t change it after i paid for the money to change it. After i argued with them they changed my tires and rotated them. The service as you can see sucked and wasn’t up to par. I don’t understand how i wasn’t provided a service i paid for. I am disgusted by this and will never come here again. I advise you to do the same.
