::FRAUD, SCAM, ILLEGAL, UNPROFESSIONAL Business. DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY, UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE RIPPED OFF AND SPEND YOUR TIME GOING TO COURT TO RECOVER FUNDS. The short version, I hired Mr. Anthony Petty for a home improvement job to install tile, carpet, blinds and paint my dining and bath room. He quoted me a price, sent me a contract (which was something he downloaded online) and not signed along with a 50% deposit ($800) he required so that he could purchase the supplies. Red flags should have went off here, but they did not, he wanted me to send the deposit via cashapp and he had me send the deposit to someone else so that he could receive the funds. After I send the deposit, he informed me that the materials would be delivered on 3/22/18, but materials never came to my home. The job was to start on 3/23/18 at 6am, he texted me in the 6am hour and said that the "contractors" would be at my home at 8am to start the job... Needless to say he arrived with some guy (not a contractor) at 12:45 on 3/23/18 to paint with no supplies in hand, he ended up using (in addition to the paint that I agreed to supply) all my other paint supplies in order to complete the job. Mr. Anthony Petty left my residence and left the guy in my home at 1:16pm on 3/23/18 and never came back , his phone was then turned off and text messages were non responsive. He stole my money, did not complete the job and the paint job the guy did in my home looks like a toddler painted my walls. The guy was never picked back up by Mr. Petty at all, he left out of my home after 9pm and waited on my front steps and then around 9:20 pm on 3/23/18 the guy disappeared and/or someone finally picked him up. During this time, Mr. Petty also stole a woman's car and through research after the fact, we found that he has a track record of fraud, id theft, working as a contractor without a license among other court case charges in the DC, MD, and VA area...
