  Location was great, but super busy on a Friday night. Great decor, fun room. Very thankful for valet parking for a decent price given the location.

  I couldn't have had a better experience with the Pelican Hotel. The two drink happy hour is worth its weight in gold. They are big, good, strong drinks. And it's 2 per person free every day. The rooms are so sheik and ultra cool and the service is so great it's as good as any 5 star hotel. My wife and I were here for 5 days and I haven't ever had more fun. The location is so perfect and honestly I'll never stay anywhere else. The breakfast is also outstanding. And for folks that worry about the noise, you are in the absolute heart of South Beach which is a very lively place so some noise is expected but I never ever felt like it was obscene by any means. Such a great hotel. Best hotel experience I've ever had and I've been Platinum Elite with Marriott for 3 years meaning over 75 stays per year so believe me when I say this is such a great find I would know as I've stayed at well over 200 hotels in recent years.

  The Pelican was clean, comfortable, and fun for our recent visit to South Beach in March 2018. The staff was friendly and helpful, and did the best they could with recommendations. The restaurant was loud and crowded with poor service during happy hour and evenings, but during breakfast, they are efficient and friendly. The room was unique and clean. Great shower! Free drinks at happy hour, decent beach chair and towel service. Overall a fun place in a fun location.

  Fantastic morning breakfast and South Beach experience! The “Featherweight” breakfast was a delight - delicious and well prepared. Fresh ingredients, and great service... all while watching the colorful beach goers walking by, and a front row seat on the park. Magical.

  A wonderful find! Kind of eclectic, but very nice, clean, reasonable prices. Carlos at the front desk is an absolute asset to Pelican Hotel. He went way above and beyond to make our stay perfect. Also one of the servers, I think her name is Kristina, also went out of her way to ensure our stay was above expectations!
