  Great venue on 6th in the mix of all the great nightlife action in downtown Austin. This place is especially great during SXSW with #HelloHipHop & RightNowTour events.

  This place is awful and the staff unprofessional. Wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

  I will start this awful review by saying that at the end of the night, several people who work at peckerheads came up to me and apologized because they were disgusted at how I was treated, so thank you to them . A Security guard picked me up and threw me back in the side walk (I'm a 110 pound 21 year old girl) claiming that he didn't see my ID which is a lie because my band was playing and he saw me loading in and checked my ID several times, and I already had the mark on my hand. He also let in several minors. Some even under 18, and I have proof of that if they REALLY wanna go there... so i walked in because DUH the security knows me I've been there all day.I got half way up the stairs and someone grabs me and picks me up. I show him my ID AGAIN and go upstairs and ask to speak to a manager. Yes I am flustered because someone just GRABBED ME for no reason! I Ask to speak to the owne and some girl comes out andn shines a flash light in my face and said I’m the owner and basically told me that if I don't STFU I have to leave. CLEARLY on some power trip. She even lied and said I charged at her meanwhile she was behind the bar! Complete lie! I was literally crying but I'm stuck there because I have to play a show. I go to the bar and all the bartenders walk away from me. My friend comes over to help me get some water and they hand us 2 waters. MINE has SOAP OR SPIT in it but my friends is clear. they thought I was too stupid to notice! Luckily for me I didn't drink it and my friend gave me hers. As we're packing up and trying to leave the show, I look over at the "owner" because she's talking about me Loud and clear again trying to provoke me. She looks at me and goes "yeah I'm talking about you, youve been telling your friends about me so I can talk about you! (Talk about unprofessional, I was grabbed for no reasonOF COURSE I'm telling my friends) luckily my drummer steps in because he has seen the entire situation. He says "look I know you don't care but.." she cuts him off and and says No I care, I just don't care about her! (Pointing at me) as we leave she follows us out trying to provoke me. they wanted me to do something so they could try to get me in trouble. the "owner" is extremely catty, literally acted like this bar was high school and she was queen of the lunch room. It’s actually quite pathetic and hilarious. The whole night I didn’t leave the bar because she kept the same security guard there and I didn’t want to pass him. She had the nerve to say to me “I thought we came up with a solution why are you still rambling?” What solution did she come up with? That security guard still was able to work there all day and I am disgusted. My guess is they are friends and she doesn’t care enough about the customers. She kept trying to provoke me and wouldn't stop talking about me loud and clear so I could hear her to piss me off. The most unprofessional environment I've ever seen! Rudest I've ever been treated BY FAR... plus the bar was absolutely gross. The bathroom is a hazard to walk to, and the whole place looks like it hasn’t seen a mop in years. The drinks were skimped not just for me but for everyone. And they didn’t have a lot of popular drinks like jack Daniels for example. Basically if you want to be treated like a human, don’t complain about anything, even if someone assaulted you. again thank you to the people who work there who spoke to me after privately. I'm sorry you work for such an awful miserable b**** who clearly has no idea how to run a business. But there’s plenty of bars... maybe it’s time to find another bar tending job. Side note: I never review places because I understand some people have bad days.. so this is my first and only review! That's how bad it is. And this hardly does is justice

  Dirty place, rude staff, and violent bullies as bouncers that need to go. Who would want to go here when there’s plenty of other places around is BEYOND me.
