  First visit to Pavo midtown this morning- Hands down the best haircut I’ve had since moving to this area nearly 2 years ago. Meredith was amazing! She listened, talked, asked questions and I walked out with the same great style that I have been searching for. I will absolutely return . 👍👍👍

  I love the atmosphere and the smell at Pavo (Aveda products = yum). I see Meredith, an absolute wizard at what she does. Since I started visiting Pavo, I get constant compliments on my hair. Every style and cut I've seen walk out their door has been amazing. Added bonus - sign up for emails and they sometimes run great specials on gift card and product purchases.

  I’ve spent the past four years since I moved to Memphis bouncing around from salon to salon, and I’ve inevitavly left each one feeling somewhere on the “meh” to “just don’t cry” spectrum. I’ve tried friends’ recommendations, accosted women with great hair in the street, pored over Insta and Yelp reviews, even done zip code searches for salons in ritzy areas (there’s a Lulu AND an Apple store there? It must be good, right? Wrong. So wrong.). Go figure, the place—and stylist—I’d been searching for was right in my backyard. I picked Pavo on a whim, literally sitting in my car in a parking lot and dejectedly picking at my split ends, telling myself that I had to get a damn haircut before my vacation, and sincerely considering Googling Great Clips rather than suffer the anticipation of trying a new stylist. I picked Pavo because I kind of wanted to try Aveda shampoo. Truth. I called and they had an opening for the next day. Great sign, right? Actually - YES. In fact, hell to the yes. When I tell you that the universe aligned and the heavens opened up when Merideth walked into the waiting area, I am not kidding. She was fun and bright and bouyant and laser-focused on my hair—how did I wear it most often, how did it react in humidity, how did it like its eggs in the morning—and gave recommendations and tips and honest feedback with the ease and grace of a physician ballerina who also happens to be your best friend. The products she chose were magic, her tips invaluable, and the cut stellar. I’m obviously a huge fan, and can’t recommend this place highly enough.

  Had an excellent experience at Pavo in midtown with Stephanie Brown who had recently relocated to this saavy spa. From reception to cut and style, it was a flawless morning. I have thick hair with some wave, and for years Stephanie has given me the exact cuts I try to describe and takes her time with me, hints why I always love my cuts and will continue to go back!! My husband and kids also get there hair cut at Pavo with Stephanie.

  I’ve been using Pavo salon for a while now. I’ve tried more than one stylist, as my original stylist retired, and they are all expert! I’ve gone both blonde and brunette over time and I’ve always been happy with my coloring every time. The atmosphere is so clean, new, and simplistic which I love as well too. They really listen to your wants and ask plenty of questions to make sure they are going on the right direction with the exact look your wanting to achieve. They’re great! I highly recommend you give them a try! My stylist is Wallace.
