The bartenders are obviously little girls, that’s all I’m gonna say.

Friendly bartenders and regulars. There's a jukebox, a pool table, dart board, inexpensive drinks, a quality sound system, clean bar, spacious...er, space. Spacious space. All that, and a bunch of televisions, if you want to see The Game (and there are enough TVs for you to see all The Games playing at any given time) as well as a bunch of drink specials all day every day. Also, some nights there are DJs spinning, with a $5 cover charge after 9pm. Basically, this place caters to every end of the spectrum of bars, right here in Fresh Meadows. Old man dive bar, lush-friendly sports bar, and the closest you'll get to a night club with an actual dance space right here in Spider-Man Land. Give this place a 5 star review, or open up your own all-encompassing bar that does it all while still being a place that caters to neighborhood regulars just as well as you do the big spenders!

This is not a four star bar. But it is what it is and it's not ashamed of it. Beers were cold and decently priced. Watch for the college crowd during school though. Fried food is fried to fried perfection.

Saw Sinead O'Connor recently. I am not a wine drinker so this is based purely on the performance space. The layout of the venue is terrific and the sound crystal clear from anywhere in the bar. My main complaint is while City Winery requested before the performance that people power their phones off (THANK YOU!) many people didn't. I was only 3 rows back and had the pleasure of watching the show through several people's "smart" phones. These people filmed (and talked) through the entire show. This simply has to be policed in some way. The waitresses could be trained to say very politely "We don't permit the use of electronic devices during the show. Thank you." A lot of people have stopped going to shows because of the rude thoughtlessness of their fellow patrons - I've cut my concert attendance back at least 50% because of it. It's rude to the patrons and to the Artists.
