  Living in New rochelle for 34 years and this was my first time at the boat parade. Neptune park is the best place to see it. So much fun.

  It's a great public area. It's on the long island sound like it very much.

  Bayside, New Rochelle, New York by David Johnson (1827-1908) Johnson painted up and down the Hudson River, in a more emotional style than the originators of the "School" of that region; this image is a fine example of how the taking the artist's perspective can create an extraordinary view out of a seemingly ordinary place.
