  A peaceful respite from New York's hustle and bustle, Gramercy Park is worth a visit, even if from outside its wrought iron gates. The surrounding neighborhood, especially walking down Irving, is historical and charming. Try to come for the annual Christmas caroling, when they open the park to the public.

  Secluded , wonderful, and private oasis where local residents go to unwind...key required to get in 364 days a year. Which day can you enter with out a key you ask? Christmas eve when the park opens to everyone for an evening of Christmas caroling with live music under a decorated tree. Check it out!

  This is a pretty small, private park. You can see from one side to the other, especially in the winter. Often has some artsy installations. I think I’ve walked past this park 100 times and have maybe seen 4 people in there, in total. Other than maintenance/landscaping workers.

  Closed park for public. It is reserved for the wealthy attendance that live there. Some of the public figures live here so the reason for close park is some what understandable. Park is sized as one city block but it's put in the middle of Lexington Avenue.
