I had ordered three 6 in Italian beef sandwiches, light dip, add cheese, and peppers on the side, one of those was a meal with fries and a medium drink. For everything the cost was about $25.00 for my family for lunch. The taste if the food is great. The inside of the restaurant is small there is space for about 6 booths worth of people. I waited 20 min before I was called by my ticket number to pickup my order, a little longer than I expected. There is not much space to wait for your order, you either can take a seat in a booth or go outside to wait for your order. Overall a great place for authentic Chicago style Italian Beef sandwiches and fries. Just be prepared to wait a little bit longer for your order.

Until recently they were a cash only FYI. I think they'll accept cards now but I wouldn't rely on it. Homestyle Cooking adequate portions low prices great portions everything is fresh. On Saturdays I like their biscuts and gravy better than anyone else. They are a breakfast and lunch establishment I'm not sure how late they stay open but they also do have a superb lunch. They are home fries are sliced potatoes that are pan fried to a brown s they're better I think than the hash browns.

Porticello's has the best Chicago-style dishes hands down no questions asked for some reason people keep on deleting my post but which makes no sense people are entitled to their own opinion sorry

This is a take out spot, do not attempt to eat in if you want a peaceful scenic experience. Its cramped, dingy and the traffic coming and going is not pleasant (to say the least). However it is one of the better options for Chicago Style food in the area. The quality of the food is generally fresh which is important for seafood which they serve a lot of. I give them 3 stars because depending on the staff things can go really wrong or well. It's best on the weekends and evenings.

Food is great! Breakfast, lunch and dinner food. Cramped inside. Bathroom often out of order. Small parking lot and off street parking. Order usually take around 15 mins to get.
