::Friendly staff, nice place. The cake I bought was well decorated, however the buttercream was too sweet. No flavor whatsoever, mostly sweet sugar. I do not anticipate a future visit, unless they change the recipe.

::Crumb buns fall apart!! I donāt like that they have cakes delivered not baked on premises! Miss Sugar-flake Bakery!

::Quality declined dramatically since Sugarflake. Breakfast pasteries donāt taste fresh and have significantly less filling. Cost is high for this quality. Today got there a little after opening and was told manager was there yet so they couldnāt serve me. Another morning the pastries werenāt off the truck yet and alternated between saying ā5 minutesā and ignoring me. Iām done with this Bakery. Someone said earlier- get Sugarflakes recipes back and take a serious look at management.

::Iāve been buying baked goods from Sugarflake for many years. When Palermoās moved in, they said the donuts and pastry would be the same. Unfortunately, the donuts and pastry are not as good as Sugarflake. What a shame. Sugarflake was the last of the old school bakeries. The baked goods were so fresh. They tasted like real ingredients. My suggestion to Palermoās... Go back to the Sugarflake baking recipes, ingredients and process. Donāt lie to good customers. The donuts have a wax feel now. They are not soft and doughy like an old school donut. I can go to DD for wax donuts. I pay more for the quality at a good hometown bakery. Palermoās isnāt bad and I wish them well. But itās just not as good as Sugarflake was.
