Very clean and quiet. A good mixture of visitors and pets. The grounds are very well taken care of and also their golf course. The bike and walk trails are kept well and it gives me a sense of peace each time I visit.

A great park for the kids. Has a choice on the grounds to play. Plenty of things for adults to do. Walking /jogging path. Picnic tables, for whatever the occasion. Events happen all of the time in park & close by in surrounding areas throughout the year. Historical marks to see & read up on. Also don't forget the dog's! Bring them to the Dog park! This place has restrooms & pavilion can be reserved for family functions, get togethers, Birthday parties! There is a Lake near bye also. Rainbow Lake. There is so much more here, come check it all out!🙂👍

It is in the heart of Memphis. The children love the playground. It was recently upgraded. Overton park shell was built in 1936. It is an open air amp theater. Elvis had his first paid concert here in 1954. Still every summer they have well known bands.

Favorite park in Memphis! Hands down. I live in Collierville and drive all the way out there because my son requests this park. The playground is great! The dog park is wonderful. There is a trail for people to walk, jog, or bike on. You can walk around the gross pond, but that gross pond is a staple of Overton Park. There is a large grassy area to lounge or play on.

Overton Park is a gem in midtown. It has the Overton Bark dog park, a couple miles of trails, a large greensward, a small lake, and an epic playground for kids. Then there's the Memphis College of Art and a ginormous amphitheater that hosts many music events. AND it's located right next to our incredible Memphis Zoo, not to mention it's close vicinity to the midtown scene. It's beautiful and irreplaceable and you will never regret your time here. (Oh yeah, and there's a golf course)
