::I went for an evaluation. I am giving 2 stars for overall friendliness of front desk and quick appointment. However their doctor just was not good in my opinion. Only solution was to remove teeth before treatment. Doctor said she did not feel comfortable to treat me without removing teeth. My overcrowding is not bad enough to remove completely healthy teeth. I have had braces and didn’t wear my retainer so they shifted back. There are other options besides removing teeth and apparently at this practice they don’t do anything else. I really hope these doctors are not removing completely healthy teeth in children without giving other options to parents. Removing healthy teeth should not be the only option. My complaint is that she didn’t give me other options and it’s because I said right away I am not removing teeth. I don’t care how low the prices are at this place do not take your children here. While I was in the waiting room I heard this doctor telling a mother that her son needed some of his teeth removed before treatment as well. That is why I said before evaluation I did not want to remove any teeth. I don’t even think she gave me a good evaluation after I said this.
Love Life
::Nice staff but very disappointing when it comes to scheduling and taking care of details. On more than two occasions I had to wait over 30 mins to be seen which in turn made me late for appointments with my clients. I finally requested to be transferred from Columbia to Catonsville hoping that I would have a more seamless experience. Guess what?! I just wasted my day because the Columbia office never sent my aligners to Catonsville. Now I have to go to Columbia tomorrow to pick up the aligners that were supposed to be in Catonsville today. I own and operate a small business. I promise I would be out of business if I treated my clients time in such careless way. To say I am disappointed would be an understatement. I would not suggest The Orthodontic Associates for Aligners if asked.

::I came here to get my lingual retainer repaired and was impressed with the great customer service from the time I made an appointment over the phone to seeing the orthodontist. The staff here are patient, kind, and understanding - which is especially appreciated during the pandemic. Even though this was my initial visit with Dr. Mahmoudi, I could tell that she was very personable and thoughtful.
