Although they had no free chips and salsa, I’m still giving them 5 stars because the food was SO good. Flour tortillas were doughy and delicious, my taco came with queso on top, and the enchiladas were very soft. Our waiter was also great. I will definitely be coming back here!

Usually very good food. This past visit not so much. Tasted like there was a change in recipe. The enchiladas didn't have that Blanco Cafe twang. The sauce didn't taste quite right and the cheese tasted like it was a different cut. Not that rich smooth cheesy flavor I'm use to.

Our family met for breakfast to celebrate my father's birthday. We went on a Saturday 11:30a.m. and we waited a few minutes for a parking space to open up. There was a small line of people waiting for a table and it seemed to be moving pretty steadily even though every table was taken. Our server was attentive and nice. Our food was hot and we did not have to wait too long for our order. Refills of coffee were kept up with and we managed to eat and socialize and be out of there within 45 to 50 minutes! Great service and good, hot breakfast/brunch.

We came here for breakfast/lunch on a recommendation from our hotel. It did not disappoint. My husband had chicken enchiladas. I had eggs, bacon the handmade tortillas and guacamole. Outstanding. We came back today because we knew the food was great. The best Mexican we’ve had. Worth the walk. They truly have best enchiladas in San Antonio.

The folks that give this place 5 stars are not kidding. I just had the puffy taco plate and almost couldn't finish it. Lots of good food. It came with two flour tortillas on the side that are made from scratch. Delicious! I wish this place was in Michigan. You won't find this stuff in Michigan. It's signature San Antonio authentic!
