  This store is so over priced. Be prepared to pay a lot more than you would elsewhere. The employees are friendly, but it seems like they have been trained to be overly helpful to the point that it can be slightly annoying. One example: I came in to buy more of a Rustoleum spray primer that I had previously bought at Home Depot. I paid $3.57 at Home Depot and $6.99 here at Orchard. This store is not a local hardware chain, it is owned by Lowe's, so there is no reason why the same product should be so much more here.

  Not the most practical place to buy most of thier stock, but, they have most everything that you need when you need it. I do buy here regularly. Love thier hours.

  For a Mega Chain you would think that they could answer their phones but they can Not be bothered to actually offer the most base of customer service, I thought you were the store that cares, apparently you couldn't care less about basic service. No matter what number you call you get an Automated Voice telling you the store is Closed then it lists the hours of operations of which you are calling within the parameters. Every Single phone number for the Portland area does this, what the hell is Your Problem that you Refuse to answer the phones? How can you possibly expect to get customers with such Awful service? And Where Do You get the balls to run commercials slamming the big box stores for Lack of Customer Service when YOU Do the Exact Same Thing? Absolutely Pathetic, You Outright Lie in Your Commercials. You care Nothing about Customer Service at all. Go ahead call them then leave reviews about their straight up LIES. I'M GOING TO HOME DEPOT AND NEVER SETTING FOOT IN ANY OF YOUR STORES EVER, AND YOU'RE 6 BLOCKS FROM MY HOME, HOME DEPOT IS 5 MILES. GOOD WAY TO GET BUSINESS, LIARS.

  The excellent employees who work here deserve 5 or better yet 6 stars. However, this being inner southeast Portland, the corporate overlords whose job it should have been to research deeply so they might cater to the local customs and style should have had the foresight to at least provide adequate and convenient BIKE parking at this location, well in advance of the store's opening. I am aware there is bike parking supposedly planned within the parking structure but it is not yet complete and the very concept of sub-terrainean bike parking feels like an afterthought. Yeah, I am complaining about bike parking. Deal with it.
